Ko-Imari & Its Styles : Shoki Imari, Kakiemon style and Kinrande style Hasami - kurawanka ware *The word, Ko-Imari, means old Imari in Japanese although some collectors of Japan prefer to name Kinrande also called Nishikide porcelain as Ko-mari style to distinguish from the Nabeshima and the Hirado porcelain. In its general sense, Ko-Imari should cover all the Imari porcelain products which were produced in the Hizen province before the Meiji period in Japan.
