| *The word, ko-Imari, means old Imari in Japanese although some collectors of Japan prefer to name only the kinrande export porcelain as the ko-Imari style to distinguish from the Nabeshima and the Hirado porcelain. In general, ko-Imari should cover all the Imari porcelain products which were produced in the Hizen province before the Meiji period in Japan. |
| Ko-Imari means old Imari produced in Hizen until the end of the Edo period |
